PRINCE CHARLES designs MOUTON ROTHSCHILD label

Prince Charles is joining the greatest artists of the 20th century as he becomes the latest painter to feature on Chateau Mouton-Rothschild's label.

Baron Philippe de Rothschild came up with the idea of having each year's Château Mouton Rothschild label designed by a famous artist of the day.

In 1946, this became a permanent and significant aspect of the Mouton image with labels created by some of the world's great painters and sculptors.

The popularity of the label images results in auction prices for older and more collectible years being far out of sync with the other first growths, whose labels do not change year to year.

CASA PACO

CLUB GLOP celebrate their sessions the LAST WEDNESDAY of EVERY MONTH at CASA PACO

Modern viniculture and music production, are both organic and technical systems, always searching through creation and experimentation, to provide an end product that might just provoke, through the act of consumption, a singular human sensation of mind and body, of sensory emotions.

Both industries are changing, and suffer from the inherent difficulties of trying to market and distribute an intangible product within the constructs of a capitalist system. In wine and the other arts such as music and literature, many independent companies have been faced with problems brought about by mass marketing, and mass production. The collapse of traditional methods of material distribution calls for experimentation and alternative approaches to the distribution of the intangible, perhaps beginning with the grass roots, to bring back these emotions to those who still live by them.
